Culinary Chef & Dining Kit

Uniforms and culinary kits are mandatory in all lab classes and are required for the first day of classes. It is strongly recommended that your uniform and knife packages be purchased before July 31st to avoid delays in shipping and to ensure you have the required items in time. The Canadore College School of Culinary Arts maintains a standard for both the culinary tool kit and the uniform package which cannot be deviated from.

Your kit includes the following:


Dining Room:
1 Dress Shirt, 1 Black Tie, 1 Tie Clip, 1 Black side towel

3 Chef Jackets, 2 Chef Pants, 6 Green side towels, 3 White Aprons, 3 Black Beanies, 10 Hairnets


Measurement Guidelines
To get the best fit, stand straight and relax. With a measuring tape follow instructions below.
CHEST: Measure from the fullest part of the chest/bust with your arms down.
WAIST: Measure around your natural waistline above the hips.
INSEAM: Measure from the base of the crotch to the bottom of your heel.
Another option is to select a pair of pants that fit you well and measure along the inside leg seam from the crotch to the bottom of the hem
Please note that these measurements are very important as these are custom garments being ordered for YOU and no one else and are non-refundable.
If the measurements you provide are incorrect you will be required to purchase new garments for the program.
Also note that the design of the chef jacket offers a more generous fit to allow for maximum comfort and function. We recommend that if you fall between sizes, that you choose the smaller size for a truer fit.

Please note that we will be at the College on September 4th in the dining room with the kits and all sizing will be confirmed at that time. Please remember that there will be many other students who will also be there to confirm their sizes and pick up their kits. It will be a very busy place, so we kindly ask in advance for you understanding and patience while we complete the sizing. Thank you.
